Bridget Fonda stars as a homicidal drug addict transformed into an underground operative in this bungled remake of “Le Femme Nikita.” Director John Badham (“War Games,” “Stakeout”) manages some credibly brutal action sequences, but fails to score points anywhere else.
An overblown soundtrack, vague plot turns and a vacant, despicable lead character are some of this bomb’s many flaws. Also stars Gabriel Byrne, Dermot Mulroney, Miguel Ferrer, Anne Bancroft and Harvey Keitel. Rated R.
