Run-DMC, rap music’s first platinum act, seeks to revive its sagging career with its first LP in two-and-half year, “Back From Hell.” The self-proclaimed Kings of Rock have changed their look and sound in an attempt to keep pace with the ever-changing rap market.
A few tracks click, but the duo’s trademark vocal interplay and hard-rock guitar fusion is, for the most part, sadly absent.
